MEDICUS International Services
MEDICUS International facilitates the
access to the medical expertise in the USA. For that purpose, we
offer the international patient three main services.
For those patients who are unable to travel to the USA, we offer
Consultation Services.
Consultation Services
The group of physicians and facilities that offer consultations
through this service form part of our group of Second Opinion
Specialists.
Through the Second Opinion Service, we bring the medical expertise
of Houston's Texas Medical Center to those international patients who
seek a solution to their medical problems and yet are not able to travel
to the USA.
MEDICUS International assists the patient in identifying the
most appropriate specialist for the pre-diagnosed medical
condition and arranges a telephone consultation between the
specialist and the patient.

For those patients who are traveling to the USA to seek medical
care, we offer Appointment Services and
Care Management Services.
Appointment Services
MEDICUS International provides the international patient with a
choice of various high quality, cost-effective physician services
in and outside the MEDICUS Network of Providers. All medical
appointments are arranged.
Whether the patient needs one or more medical appointments with
various specialists or simply wishes to have a check-up, we focus on providing convenient and expedient medical care, while
attending to the patient in a personal and caring manner. We also
assist in providing information on the cost of the medical care.
In order to attend to the patient and their family, we also
offer complimentary airport assistance service and hotel/lodging
arrangements.
More specialized services are available, such as exclusive
limousine transportation to and from the airport as well as within
the city, ground ambulance services, emergency air ambulance
service, and translation/guide services. These services carry
an additional need-based charge.
Care Management Service
The Care Management Service is the most comprehensive service
offered. The patient not only enjoys the convenience offered
through the Appointment Service as described above, but also
benefits from significant medical cost savings.
Through this service, MEDICUS International assists with the
management of the patient's care, coordinates the services
provided and becomes responsible for the payment of all medical
costs incurred, always under the direction of a physician. When the patient allows MEDICUS to become the
guarantor of all medical bills, the patient is granted medical
discounts. These discounts are offered by the members of the MEDICUS
Network of Providers.
Through the Care Management Service, MEDICUS International:
- Assists in the selection of the most appropriate specialist.
- Makes all necessary medical appointments for the patient.
- Facilitates the patient's care by ensuring that expedient and
personal medical care is delivered.
- Tracks all the medical charges incurred.
- Receives and organizes all medical invoices.
- Applies discounts to medical charges.
- Submits payment of all medical charges on the patient's behalf.
